MEET Kimberly Fields Whitfield

Kimberly Fields Whitfield is a native of the Peach State of Georgia. Her journey began as a master cosmetologist, caterer and restaurant business owner, and formerly an Educator in Georgia Public School System and Virginia Beach Public Schools. She’s had an amazing journey of challenges and has always found peace in her passion of journaling. After the death of her husband, Marion Whitfield, that passion inspired and led her to becoming an author of her first book, “Hidden Treasure Keys in Broken Vessels.” Since then she’s written “The Secret Recipes of a Kept Woman” and “Keep it Moving,” a beginner’s guide for all ages to learn how to journal, and her very first children’s book, “The Oasis Bloom Summer Camp” teaching journaling to make great choices. She is the mother of 3 adult children and the joy of her life; her amazing grandchildren.

Just like Job, she lost a lot along her life’s journey, but God has blessed her with a whole new life, restored her family and landed her in Virginia with the love of the rest of her life. With PaPa Raymond (AKA PaPa Raynie) by her side, Mrs. Whitfield’s cup of tea is dedicating most of her time treasuring and making new family memories, loving and training their grandchildren, mentoring, motivating and teaching character building steps to others how to enjoy and become better in every season of life’s journey.

When she doesn’t have any projects to do, she enjoys cooking, setting the dinner table, feeding family and friends or simply joy cruising the countryside pondering on the goodness of God in her life.
